Walter Leon Galloway, 88, of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away November 8, 2025.  He was born on April 1, 1937 in French Lick, Indiana.  Walt served honorably in the United States Army where he served four combat tours in Vietnam in helicopters.  After retirement he worked for CF Pools in Daytona Beach, Florida.  Outside of work he enjoyed traveling throughout the State of Florida, especially the Florida Keys.  He and Marilyn also enjoyed fishing and lobstering while making memories at the Dog Bar on Stock Island in Key West.

Walt is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Lee Galloway; four children; one stepson; eight grandchildren; two step grandsons; two great granddaughters; and other extended family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Josie Galloway; a daughter, and a granddaughter.

Services will be held privately at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to a charity of your choice.
