Walter L. "Rocky" Fugit 56 of Daytona Beach passed away too soon in life at his home on January 1 2007. He was born on December 17 1950 to the late Walter and Ruth Fugit in Louisville Kentucky. Rocky worked for CSX railroad for 22 years as a Bridge Foreman until retiring. Although he enjoyed fishing and golfing his greatest passion in life was his family who will miss him deeply. A great husband wonderful father and best friend are some of the few words that describe him. To Rocky life was a journey and to him the most important part of this journey was his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 36 years Debbie; son Shannon Fugit and his wife Melinda; step-daughter Kendra Hall and her son Kyle; sister Rosemary Fugit and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Rocky's honor to the American Diabetes Association.
