Vivian Brown 87 of Palm Coast passed away December 14 2011 at Flagler Pines N.H. Visitation will be held on December 19 2011 from 3:00 pm until the Funeral Service at 5:00 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast. Vivian was born and raised in Johnstown Pa. where she graduated from Johnstown High School. She then attended Memorial Hospital where she earned her R.N. license. Vivian moved to OH where she worked as an R.N. in the surgical dept. at Huron Hospital then Suburban Hospital retiring in 1980. One of Vivian's accomplishments before retiring was pioneering the opening of the Pacu unit at the Hospital. Vivian and her husband Herbert relocated to Palm Coast after her retirement. Here they attended the Palm Coast United Methodist Church. For all that knew Vivian she will be remembered for her countless hours peacefully reading her favorite books. Vivian was preceded in death by her brother Meredith McGeary and sister Eileen McGeary. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Herbert Brown of Palm Coast daughters Meredith Ann (Ron) Romito of AZ Deborah L. (Jim) Varga of OH sisters Patricia McNamee of OH Jackie Frye of TN Sally White of FL. Vivian was also the Loving grandmother of six grandchildren Amy (Patrick) Wiatrocik of AZ Elizabeth (Brandon) Williamson of NM Ronald (Marguerite) Romito of OH Carrie (Sal) Lardomita of OH James (Brooke) Varga of OH and Joseph Varga of OH. She was also the great grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren.
