Vivian Kathryn Babcock passed away on July 13, 2021. Kathy earned her Bachelors and Masters degree in Speech Pathology from University of Central Florida. She worked as a speech therapist providing services to children, as well as taught in the ESE program in the school system. Kathy was awarded teacher of the year for Volusia county, as well as teacher of the year on multiple occasions for her school.

Many children's lives were touched by Kathys passion and inspiration to help others. Her classroom was always open for students or staff members who needed a hug or a snack.

She loved reading books, taking trips to the library, practicing yoga, spending time on the beach, finding companionship w her dogs, swimming, and consuming copious amounts of chocolate.

Kathy is survived by her stepmother Linda Goshorn, her brother Bruce Goshorn, her daughter Lindsey Babcock, her nephew Bryan Day, her 3 grandchildren, many other adoring nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by her father Gilbert Goshorn, her mother Vivian Bradley, her sister Lynn Goshorn, her husband of 39 years Kim Babcock and her daughter Keli Babcock.

A Memorial Service will be held July 31 ^st @ 10:30 AM at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Beach
