Funeral Mass for Vito Possidente 77 of Palm Coast will be held Saturday at 11am at Santa Maria Del Mar catholic Church 915 N. Central Ave. in Flagler Beach. His family will be receiving friends in the Palm Coast Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Mr. Possidente passed away at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House on Wednesday October 31st. He was born in New York City on January 16 1930. Together with his wife Phyllis he raised 2 daughters in Bethpage NY. He retired as Asst. superintendent of Sanitation for the Village of Hempstead Long Island NY. After 34 years of service he moved to this area in August 1985. Vito was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Palm Coast and a past member of the Italian American Club. He enjoyed cruising with his family traveling through the West and was an avid NY Yankees NY Giants and NASCAR Fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Phyllis his 2 daughters Christine Bilello and her husband Joe of Vero Beach and Carol Edwards and her husband John of Ronkonkoma NY Vito will also be sadly missed by his 3 grandsons; Michael Matthew and Brian.
