Virginia Ruth Winfree, 87, of Daytona Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2016. She was born in Mayo, Florida on March 25, 1929 to Lawtey and Laura (Fife) Padgett. Virginia worked as a secretary; she enjoyed thrift store shopping, fishing, gardening and loved dabbling and excelling in real estate from which she was able to help others; most of all, her greatest joy was being with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Virginia Carol (Robert) Vieira of Honolulu, HI, and Patty Hart and (Steve Moltere) of Daytona Beach, by her two loving granddaughters, Kimberly Carol Vieira of New York, and Kelly Elena Vieira of Honolulu, as well numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly as well as her church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Jack W. Winfree, her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 22nd at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach between the hours of 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Saturday, July 23rd at 11:00 am at Kepler Road Baptist Church, 251 N. Kepler Rd. Deland, FL.
