Virginia "Ginny" Richards age 89 of Daytona Beach passed away on Saturday August 18th 2012.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 29th 2012 at Baggett & Summers Funeral Home between the hours of 9:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m followed by Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. burial will immediately follow at Daytona Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ginny was born on November 18th 1922 in Champagne Illinois to the late Emily (Stroll) and Leon Jarodsky. While living in the Chicago area she was actively involved with fashion modeling. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a PhD in Social Work while living in California. She was an independent licensed social worker in the Daytona Beach area for many years and was very honored to be of assistance to the lives she touched. Ginny was a devoted mother and grandmother member of the Pelican Bay Home Owners Association and loved animals especially dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leon & Emily Jardosky first husband Robert Richards second husband William Colman and grandson Bryan Richards.
Survivors include her son Ronald Richards and his wife Elaine Bleau-Richards of Gloucester Massachusetts; grandson Christopher Richards and his wife Susan: and great grandchildren Jeremy Rich and Cameron Bryanna and Diana Richards.
