Virginia K. Quimby 84 of Deland Florida passed away on Sunday May 6 2012. She was born November 17 1927 in Maplewood N.J. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Quimby. She is survived by her daughters Alison Sylvia (Tim) of Deland Fl. and Carol Bates (Daniel)of Hendersonville Tn.; two grandchildren Daniel Sylvia and Megan Sylvia. She graduated from Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania. The family is planning a "Celebration of Life" at a later date. In leiu of flowers donations may be sent to Alley Cat www.alleycat.org
