Virginia Claire Montgomery Dreyer, 96, Daytona Beach, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep, at home, on Sunday, September 11, 2016.
Virginia was born January 21, 1920 in Tonawanda, New York to James and Irene (Griffis) Montgomery; she has called Daytona Beach her home since April 1965.
Virginia was an active parishioner at Ephinany Catholic Church, where she served on the various church organizations including the Women's Circle.
She was an accomplished china painting artist, and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Francis Andrew Dreyer. She is survived by two daughters and two sons, Sharon Beach Piljay and Bob Piljay, by John Beach and JoAnne Sturdevent, by Jacqueline Dreyer Mariello and Ron Mariello, as well as Patrick Dreyer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach, Florida
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15th at 9:00 am at Basilica of St. Paul Catholic Church, 317 Mullaly Street Daytona Beach, Florida.
