Virginia Lugtu-Salazar 73 whose family lives in Palm Coast passed away August 28 2010 at the Bridgeview Center Ormond Beach. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday August 31st between the hours of 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm at The Lohman Funeral Home located at 220 Palm Coast Parkway SW Palm Coast Florida. A Funeral gathering will be held on Wednesday September 1st 2010 1:00 pm at The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church followed by a 2:00 pm service.
Virginia was born in the Philippines where she graduated from High School and earned her Bachelors degree as a Chemical Engineer from The National University of Philippines before moving with her family to New York New Jersey and finally Florida. Virginia will be remembered by her family and friends as compassionate generous humble and foremost having a great sense of humor. Virginia shall also be remembered for her love of food.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Generosa and one brother Angelo Lugtu. She is survived by brothers Jesse Lugtu and his wife Lourdes of Bethpage NY Joseph Lugtu and his wife Cristeta of Jersey City NJ Hermo Lugtu and his wife Christine of Jersey City NJ Manuel Lugtu of Jersey City NJ Gil Lugtu and his wife Maria of Jersey City NJ sisters Guia Pedron of Palm Coast Concepcion and her husband Perry Yap of Palm Coast Marietta and her husband Hermie Salustiano of San Diego California and Rosa and her husband Mario Villava of Jersey City NJ.
