Virginia ("Ginny") Laura Rhodes, 77, of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024.  She was born on October 11, 1946, in Troutville, Virginia.  She worked as an insurance representative and made many memories serving her community.  Throughout her life, Ginny was courageous to speak her mind and stand up for her thoughts.  She was loyal and loving, always taking care of her husband, Norman.  Having endured many New England winters, they retired to Florida and settled in Palm Coast.  Ginny and Norman enjoyed any activity where they could just be together!  Their day trip adventures included antiquing, walking aisles at a flea market, or walking the shore at the beach.

Ginny is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Norman Rhodes, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL; step-daughter, Cassandra Kelley (husband, William Kelley); step-daughter, Marlise Rhodes; granddaughter, Brooke Kelley; granddaughter, Caragh Kelley (all of Wilmington, NC); sister, Peggy Johnson (husband, Jim Johnson) of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Danny Garrette (wife, Pam Garrette) of Williamsburg, VA; brother, Randy Garrette of Spring Grove, VA; nieces, nephews, extended family, close friends and neighbors.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, or a charity of your choice, or take a walk on the beach in memory of Ginny.
