A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Virginia R. Kenney 91 of Ormond Beach FL who passed away on September 25 2009 at her residence at 10:00am Wednesday September 30 2009 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church 600 S. Nova Road Ormond Beach FL with burial to follow at Daytona Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 29th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach FL. Born on May 30 1918 in Chestnut Hill PA to John & Marguerite Kennedy Mrs. Kenney was a retired volunteer elementary school teacher for 30 years at St. Matthews Catholic School in NJ. She was a college graduate of St. Joseph University in PA. She was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John J. Kenney Jr. and two sons Kevin and Gerard. Survivors include her only daughter Virginia and her sons: John Bob Joe David Brian and Mark. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
