Jones who passed away peacefully at an adult living facility in Ormond Beach FL on November 28 2007 will be held at the convenience of her family at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg VA. Ms. Jones was born and raised in Petersburg VA and lived in Virginia all her life until moving to Florida four years ago to be with her great niece Joy Heffner. Virginia was born January 29 1911 in Petersburg VA the daughter of Emmett and Ava Carnes Lawhon. She was predeceased by her twin brothers Bernard and Willie Lawhorn and her parents.
