Virginia F. Hopson-Westberry 85 passed away Thursday June 13 2013 in the presence of her loving family. She was born December 17 1927 to Elwyn and Rosetta Fretwell in Cocoa Beach FL and was raised in New Smyrna Beach FL where she graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School. She loved to sing and play southern gospel music. She accomplished a LPN nursing degree and delighted in being a homemaker. A graveside service will take place Monday June 17 2013 11am at Woodland Cemetery Port Orange Fl. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sisters; Nita Osterman and Frances Getwan; 1 brother Elwyn Fretwell; 3 sons Gary(Debbie)Westberry of WV; Dennis(Colleen)Westberry of IN; and Gene Westberry of FL; 2 daughters Myra(Hal)Jolley of TN; Iris(David)Blevins of TN; 8 grand-children 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
