Virginia Mae Hartline passed away on July 23 2008 in Edgewater Florida. A memorial service will be held at her home on Saturday July 26 at 11:00am. "Jean" was born on December 26 1930 in Lansing Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Mary Perko and her beloved husband Mike. She is survived by her daughters; Susan (Mike) Long Nancy (Miguel) Hartline-Fernandez Heidi (Nelson) Cambata and Dora Maher. Jean was surrounded by a large and loving family including 7 grandchildren 2 step-grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren brothers; Bob (Dolly-deceased) Perko Bill (Ann) Perko and Jerome (Connie) Perko.

Before moving to Edgewater Jean lived in Fort Lauderdale and worked as a bookkeeper with the Broward County School Board. She moved to Edgewater after retiring and was active with interests in gardening photography and line dancing. Jean was also a volunteer with the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach Bert Fish Hospital and the Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna Beach.

Family and friends remember her for kind loving nature and her devotion to family. In Lieu of flowers please send donations to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
