Virginia "Ginny" Ott 90 of Ormond Beach passed away Sunday July 8 2012. Funeral Service will be Monday July 16 2012 at 1:00pm at First United Methodist Church 336 South Halifax Dr. Ormond Beach FL 32176.

Ginny was predeceased by her dear husband of 68 years John Ott. Ginny and John moved to the Ormond area 35 years ago from Massachusetts. Ginny was a homemaker raising their 2 daughters Marilynn and Jan. She was a member of the Ormond Memorial Auxiliary for 35 years serving as 2nd vice president treasurer corresponding secretary and editor of the newsletter. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir served as a Sunday morning greeter and member of the altar guild. She initiated the caring card ministry creating her own original cards. She loved visiting all of her children.

Ginny will be sadly missed by her loving daughters: Marilynn Knowles (Jim) of Ormond Beach and Jan Doyle (Matt) of O'Fallon Missouri. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Jim Knowles (Emily) John Knowles (Julie) Steve Knowles (Laurie) Jennifer Sparks (Chris) Megan Eady (Jon); and by her 7 great-grandchildren: Savannah Sparks Jack Knowles Jake Knowles Chris Knowles Nicole Knowles Shane Craig and Brooke Craig. Ginny will be mourned by her family and many friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
