Virginia Lois Cummins age 93 of Deland went to her heavenly rewards on Wednesday October 13 2010. A 12:00 pm viewing followed by a 2:00pm Funeral Service in her honor will be held on Wednesday October 20 2010; with Rev. Phillip Schmunk officiating at the Deland Chapel of the Lohman Funeral Home followed by and interment at Oakdale Cemetery. Virginia was born on our Independence Day to Thomas and Effie Sothern in Livingston County Kentucky. She dedicated her life as a wife mother grandmother and great grandmother. . She was a light hearted fun loving Christian gentle women who was a proud longtime active member of 1st. Baptist Church in Deland and dedicated her talents to china painting singing and entertaining Her beloved husband of 66 years Wayne Cummins a daughter Janet E. Flowers a son Wayne T. Cummins a grandson and 2 great grandchildren preceded her in death and she leaves behind to cherish her memory 2 children; Judith (the Late Roy L.)
