Virginia B. Cooper R.N. 96 died at RaStelle Manor on February 11 2004. She was born in Boissevain VA on October 3 1907 to William and Ella Tabor Bowling.

She graduated from Bluefield Sanitarium as an R.N. in 1929. She was employed by Pocahontas Fuel Co. as an industrial nurse. She was also employed by Halifax Hospital as a supervisor. She was a member of Boissevain VA Methodist Church from 1914 to 1975 and was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church since 1975. Mrs. Cooper resided in Holly Hill FL since 1960.

After her retirement from nursing she enjoyed traveling reading writing and working puzzles. She had a pleasant personality and had many friends and acquaintances.

She is preceded in death by her husband Hary J. Cooper. She is survived by many nephews and nieces; two sisters-in-law Helen Bowling and Margery Bowling; one brother-in-law Edward Cooper.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday February 16 2004 at Highland Presbyterian Church 950 Derbyshire Rd.. The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 till 10:00 a.m. prior to funeral service. Burial will be in Princeton WV.
