Virginia Alden, 60, of Deland, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2015. Virginia was born February 15, 1955 to John Falzone and Lucy Lombardi Falzone. She moved from New York to Deland in 1981, where she began working at Deland Middle School as a Campus Advisor. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Jeffery Alden; daughters, Mary Alden and Jenifer (Jason) Wurtz; a sister Maryann (Thomas) Bubelnik; brothers Robert Falzone and Ronald Falzone and 2 grandchildren whom she adored. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor at 10 AM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at the St Peter Catholic Church in Deland, Followed by Interment at Deland Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Virginia will be held at the Lohman Funeral Home Deland Chapel on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from the hours of 4 pm till 7 pm with a Prayer Service being held at 6:00 PM.
