Virasami Kuppinswamy 80 of Daytona Beach passed away on Tuesday February 1st 2011.

A visitation will be held on Thursday February 3rd & Friday February 4th at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona from 4pm until 9pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 5th in the Chapel of Lohman Funeral Home beginning at 10am.

Virasami was born on January 3 1931 to the late Nandu and Virasami Kuppinswamy in Guyana South America.

Growing up in Albion estates he was a very bright young man. His mother was very proud of him. He loved his family and friends. Sports was a very big event in his life. On sundays in Guyana he would get dressed up and go to cricket games with his friends. When he came to America he became very passionate about tennis. He never missed a world event tennis match. He was also an avid reader from reading the Gita to reading the newspaper; it was part of his daily ritual. He also loved to discuss politics and never missed an opportunity to vote. In his last days in the hospital he was still watching australian tennis match. We will miss his enthusiasm laughter and words of wisdom.

He is preceded in death by his late wife Mamas.

Virasami is survived by his beloved wife Willimay children Mary and husband Vishnu Maureen and husband Sonny Babo and husband Baba Marlene and husband Rishee Lenny and wife Dolly Babalin and husband Melvin and Marilyn grandchildren Sharon Jamie and wife Dee Dee Diana and husband Lincoln Melanie Vinny Jennifer and husband Sunil Vicky Kathy Sharda and husband Suresh Steven Christine Brian Christopher George Ronald Jr. Natalie and Emily great grandchildren Christy Joshua Nicholas Maddy Sasha Satyana and Jayden 95 year old sister Jess and many nieces nephews extended family members and friends.
