Obituary

Violet Grace Harris was born in New York City on November 28 1920 to loving parents Amanda Elizabeth Morrison Carr and Wilfred Vincent Carr Sr. She had one sister May and one brother Wilfred Jr. The family lost May when she was nine years old. Growing up Violet loved to spend time with her brother ""Vince"" and her cousins Millicent and Yvette. She graduated from Wadleigh High School and worked as a dental assistant and then as a school secretary.

Violet married Enoch Palmer in Miami Florida and they settled back in New York. Several years later she was re-married to Henry Harris. She had one step-daughter Daphanie Harris.

Violet loved singing and playing the piano she had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Music always made her happy. She also loved to sew crochet and knit. And make handmade dolls and various craft items she also loved jewelry.

In the last few years of her life Violet joined her brother and his wife in Palm Coast Florida where she loved to sit on the patio and hum and sing her favorite songs and hymns.

She leaves to mourn her brother Wilfred V. Carr Jr. and his wife Gladys of Palm Coast Florida Nieces Lois Pritchard and husband Eduardo of Palm Coast Mrs. Stephanie Morales of Atlanta Georgia and Nephew Stephen E. Carr of Atlanta and Cousin Bill Sinclair of New Jersey and several Grand Nieces and Nephews and family and friends and other relatives.
