The family will receive friends on Monday November 29 2010 at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast 220 Palm Coast Pkwy Palm Coast FL 32137 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Vinnie and Jean moved to Palm Coast from New York after a successful career as a Firefighter for the FDNY for 27 years and prior to that he was a Police Officer for the NYPD for 4 years. He was the Past Exalted Ruler of the Palm Coast Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge #2709 the Past Commander of the Broad Channel NY American Legion Post 1404 a member of the Flagler County Marine Corps League Detachment 876 and The Irish Social Club of Palm Coast Inc. He is survived by his wife Jean Gough of Palm Coast two sons Vincent Gough Jr. of Palm Coast and Joseph Gough and wife Kara of Queens NY two daughters Christine Doyle and husband James of Monroe NY and Jean Marie Witherby and husband James of Monroe NY two brothers James Gough and wife Gloria of Long Island NY and Daniel Gough and wife Clare of Sebastian Inlet FL two sisters Johanna Hoppenhauer and husband Howard of Mauldin SC and Theresa Callaghan and husband John of Jackson NJ as well as 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father James Joseph Gough mother Rose Ann O'Shaughnessy his brother Maurice Gough and his sister Mary Gough.
