Villie Milo Brooks 38 of Daytona Beach passed away Thursday March 20 2008. Son of Melvin & Dr. Margaret Rhodes. He was a minister of the Daytona Beach Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research Inc. He was born in Little Rock AR and moved to Daytona Beach in 1996 with his family. Milo is a meek humble man with a big heart. He loved to cook and feed everyone. He enjoyed working with wood setting up sound systems cutting hair Laughing Joking and playing. He dedicated 17 years as a cook for Red Lobster and for a while at Woody's Barbeque. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Dr. Lisa A. Brooks five children Yolanda and Brandi Ivy Amber Brunson and Mylisha and Ashley Brooks two grandsons De'Shawn and De'Ontay Willey 7 sisters: Latonia Eagles Margaret Pamela Latisha Brooks Carzie Gloria and Jennifer Rhodes 4 brothers Eddie Pedie Marty and Michael Brooks and a host of aunts uncles nieces and nephews. A service in his honor will be held Saturday March 29 2008 1:30 PM at the Daytona Lohman Funeral Home with Minister Dr. Richard Bailey officiating. He will be laid to rest at Daytona Memorial Park next to his beloved mother Dr. Margaret Rhodes. Visitation will be held Friday March 28 6-8 PM.
