Vida C Carrier 88 passed away Friday January 16 2009 at the Coquina Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday January 21 2009 at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond with the Reverend Bob Moorehead officiating.
Mrs Carrier moved here in 1962 from Columbus Ohio. Vida was a National Honor Roll Student in High School. She enjoyed fishing gardening & most importantly being a professional cake decorator. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Janice (Marvin) Chrisman of Titusville FL & Marilyn (Chuck) Gould of The Hammocks FL; brothers Willis Prince of Ohio & Henderson Prince of California; sisters Ada Thompson Bessie Jacobs Jessie Miller & Gladys Buckley all of Ohio; 13 loving grandchildren & 21 great grandchildren. Vida is preceded in death by her husband Sidney Carrier in 1961.
