Our beloved mother, Veronica Kovacic Beckham, age 94, passed away on 10/2/2022 surrounded by her loving family in Ormond Beach, FL. Veronica was born in Lloydell, PA on 9/19/1928. She was the daughter of Evan and Francis Kovacic, she pursued a R.N. degree and enlisted in the Air Force where she served as a 2nd Lieutenant. She was stationed in San Antonio, TX, where she met and married the love of her life, Oscar Tillman Beckham.

Veronica was an active member of the Bascilica of St Pauls, Daytona Beach, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her family, teaching, being a nurse, square dancing, and traveling.

She was director of nursing at Daytona Beach General Hospital before becoming a program director in nursing at Daytona State College. She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Beckham. She is survived by her Sister, Nancy Merisko; her Children, Beverly Schutt (Mike), Judy Beckham, Dale Beckham, Amy Vick (Donnie), and Tony Beckham (Ann); as well as 8 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held on 11/18/2022 at 10:30 at the Bascillica of St Pauls, 317 Mullaly St, Daytona Beach, FL.  Followed by a burial service at Daytona Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
