Clark Roberts was born in 1938 at home in Greenwood, Florida to Oliver Clark Roberts and Mary Susan Stapleton Roberts. He grew up in the Florida panhandle town of Graceville. From a young age he knew the value of hard work. Clark earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1955. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1960 he moved to New Jersey and worked for RCA. He married Sonia Brookins in 1962. In 1965, he continued his career human factors engineer at GE Aerospace in Daytona Beach, FL. Clark was proud to have worked on every NASA space flight program until his retirement from GE in 1993. His "retirement" years were spent building out custom Boston Whalers for himself and friends, boating all but two rivers in the state of Florida, and enjoying time with his wife, Sonia, friends, family, and his especially his grandchildren. Clark is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sonia Brookins Roberts, daughter Lorisa Roberts Hilburn, and grandsons Coleman Oscar Hilburn and Fisher Andrew Hilburn.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 6 at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL 32127. Visitation is from 2-3 PM; the memorial service begins at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to the Halifax Hospice, The Parkinson's Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
