Verne Davis Bury passed away June 27, 2015 in Orange City Fl. She grew up in Orlando and graduated from Orlando Senior High School (now Howard). She lived a number of years in Seminole County on Big Bear Lake and was employed as a Teacher's aide at Bear Lake Elementary School. She also resided in New Smyrna Beach and worked at the Volusia County Health Department in Daytona Beach. After the death of her husband Stanley in 1999, she moved from Lake City to Deland to be near her son.

Survivors include her son, Brian and his wife Beverly of Deland, FL; a grandson, Brett of Virginia Beach, VA; great granddaughter Sydney of Germany, and a number of nieces and nephews. Verne was loved by all that knew her and will truly be missed.
