Funeral Services for Verna B. Grubb 79 of Ormond Beach who passed away on October 6 2006 will be held on Tuesday October 10 2006 at 12:30 pm at the Daytona Chapel of Lohman Funeral Homes with visitation one hour prior. She was born in Wheelwright KY June 9 1927 to the late Sam and Nora Ashworth and grew up in Huntington WV. She was an active member of Riverbend Community Church and enjoyed her grandchildren traveling and bowling. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Jess H. Grubb; son Dan Grubb; daughter Jessie Turner; sisters Ruth Ellen Cartier and Shirley Fay Shockly; grandson Daniel Grubb; granddaughters Shari MacFarlane Kristine Hall and Traci Riggs and 6 great grandchildren.
