IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ursula Margarete
Inglett
July 18, 1937 – August 18, 2025
Mrs. Ursula Margarete "Uschi" Inglett, 88, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, in Holly Hill, Florida.
Born on July 18, 1937, in Berlin - Templhof, Germany, Ursula was the daughter of Helene and Herbert Dlugos. She grew up in post-war Europe and pursued her education with determination and purpose. She met her husband in Germany while he was serving in the US Army. She studied Civil Law in Germany, laying the foundation for a lifelong engagement with legal work and intellectual pursuits.
After relocating to the United States, Ursula brought her talents and dedication to Daytona Beach, Florida, where she worked as a legal assistant for Senator Edgar Dunn. Her professionalism and commitment to excellence earned her recognition within the community. In 1985, she was elected as President of the Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW), a testament to her impact and leadership.
Ursula was deeply devoted to her family. She shared a loving 65-year marriage with her husband, Obed Inglett and was a proud mother to Michael Inglett (Holly), Diane Dishman (James) and the late Stephen Inglett. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Christopher Dishman (Mellissa), Jennifer Inglett, Jessica Inglett, Kathryn Nelson (Chris), Mckenna Inglett, Pamela Hawk (Joe), Stephanie Dishman and her 6 great-grandchildren.
She found joy in many interests throughout her life. A passionate gardener and skilled cook, Ursula also enjoyed water aerobics and had a deep appreciation for both law and the English language. Her love of travel reflected her curiosity about the world and its cultures. A woman of faith, she worshipped in the Protestant tradition.
Ursula was preceded in death by her parents Helene and Herbert Dlugos; her son Stephen Inglett; her brother Hans Dlugos; and her sister Anneliese Haupt.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
