Ursula M. Del Rosario, 76, of Ormond-by-the Sea, FL passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 8th from 5-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 9th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd. Ormond Beach with Fr. Tom Barrett officiating.

Ursula was born and raised in Fuhrbach, Germany, the youngest of four children. Following her graduation from business school, she went to work for a criminal defense attorney and then as a secretary for the director of the Commerz bank in Goettingen, Germany. She immigrated to the United States in 1964 and lived in the Detroit area where she worked as an executive secretary for the Utica Education Assoc. It was there that she met and married the love of her life, Ramiro.
Upon her retirement in 1996, Ursula and Ramiro decided to call sunny Florida their home and relocated to Ormond-by-the-Sea. She was a parishioner at St. Brendan Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed living in Florida, she loved people, reading, music, travel, politics, and volunteering, most of all she love the Lord Jesus Christ and was grateful for all of His blessings.

Ursula will be missed dearly by her beloved husband of 46+ years, Ramiro, her families here and in Germany, her brother, Leo and wife Brigitte; her brothers-in-law, Frank and wife, Margaret and Cesasar; her sister-in-law, Agnes, and her nephews, nieces, as well as grand-nephews and grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Maria Rhode.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ursula's memory to St. Brendan Thrift Shop Ministry of St. Vincent de Paul.
