Obituary

Ursula S. Beshere, 78, of Sorrento, Florida, died, October 21, 2015 at Summerhaven Assisted Living Facility in Debary, Florida. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 28th at 1:15pm at Annunciation Church. The family will receive friends a half hour prior to services. Interment will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park, Casselberry, Florida.

Ursula was born June 13, 1937 in Frankfurt, Germany . She met her husband Buster Beshere in Frankfurt Germany and they were married in 1957. She is survived by 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Ursula loved creating beauty around her. She loved flowers. She also loved cooking for family and friends. Family gatherings were favorite times for her. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She made Christmas magical for her family and friends. She loved all animals and had 4 pets in her life time: Cherie, Karena, Ms Kitty and Shotsie. She also had several grand pups which she adored and they adored her.

Her husband was owner/operator of The Purple Porpoise in Maitland, FL. When he could no longer manage the restaurant because of his illness, Ursula became his legs and together they managed operations together. Ursula was the sole caregiver for her husband who suffered through Muscular Sclerosis. She was totally devoted to him and gladly took care of him until his death in June 2004. It was not long after that she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. This disease required her to use every ounce of strength and courage that she had. It took monumental efforts to do simple daily tasks that we take for granted. She could no longer do the things she loved. Her spark dimmed but she continued to fight for the sake of her children until October 21st 2015 when she was finally released from this devastating disease.

Ursula was a very kind, compassionate and loving person. She had immense strength and courage. She was light of heart and had a great laugh. She was selfless and loyal.

Ursula lived a good life and we think she should be very proud of her accomplishments here on earth. She had a way of making people feel important and appreciated. We know she touched many lives as she has touched ours. We hope she knew that we appreciated her struggles, her sacrifices and most of all the love she had for her family and friends.

We love you and will miss you so much. You will be in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We will honor your legacy of love, kindness and compassion. We pray that you are now happy and that you can laugh again. You can doubt the brightness of the stars but you can never doubt the love we have for you. The heavens will be filled with your laughter and the stars will shine brighter with your smile.

Ursula is survived by her children Effie Walthall of Sanford, FL, by Anthony (Tony) S Beshere of Altamonte Springs, FL and Bettina M Beshere of Sorrento, FL as well as her 3 grandchildren: Anthony, Alec and Zachary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hans Spangenberg and Bienchen Bonzilius, her husband, Buster Beshere, brother Walter Spangenberg, and her children Carmen and Desiree.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Parkinson's Foundation.
