Obituary

Tyler Laurence Burns, age 30, of Port Orange, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 P.M. On Thursday January 14, 2021 at …..

Tyler was born on August 7, 1990 in DeLand, Florida to Michael and Lisa Burns. He was a person who saw the good in others before anything else. He didn't judge people and it was easy for him to love everyone he got the chance to know. Tyler loved his family and friends without condition and the love he gave was unquestionably returned to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, step-father and most devastatingly, his older brother Michael Burns. "The Boys" were almost one person and when Michael died, part of Tyler did too. They were everything to each other and intertwined in a way that most people never get to experience.

He spent his life making art of every kind: music, poetry, painting were his main mediums. Creating art was the way he was able to express himself, the raw emotion he poured into his art is undeniably palpable. His talent was boundless and he was too bashful to ever admit it.

He loved nature and spending times with friends around a fire, hiking, skateboarding, and getting into shenanigans. To say the least, he loved having a good time.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and step-father Lisa and Jack Nunez, his sister Kaitlyn Wilson Tredeaux, brother in-law Dan Tredeaux, grandparents Gary and Sandra Bott, grandmother Lori Hendricks, great grandfather Nevin Bott and his dog Vivian. Tyler also leaves an abundant amount of friends who were as important to him as his family. No matter the type of interaction a person had with Tyler, it without a doubt stained their hearts forever.
