Ty Michael Ramsey Daytona Beach Shores died in his sleep the morning of Wednesday 9/9/09 at the age of 33. Born in Daytona Beach Florida Ty was a graduate of Lake Brantly High School Longwood Florida. In 1997 Ty completed his basic training for Army National Guard at Fort Sill Oklahoma and the U.S Army Air Defense Artillery Center at Fort Bliss Texas. He was assigned to and spent the next seven years as a proud member of the Deland National Guard Armory Battery-B 1-265th.

Attending DBCC Ty completed his certification for and was licensed by the Florida Real Estate Commission. Working the last nine years as a Mortgage Banker with Ramsey & Associates Mortgage Company a Ramsey family business in Daytona Beach Ty had recently prepared for a new career in the Merchant Marines. Recently Ty successfully completed his MMD TWIC & STCW BASIC SEAMAN certifications and was waiting on a new Merchant Marine assignment.

Ty was extremely considerate and loyal towards his friends and family and loved his recreation time with them; snow skiing hiking white water rafting boating and his first love fishing.

Christened at Fairview Methodist Church Birmingham Alabama the church of his Grandparents Ty was a loving happy young man with an abundance of friends that he enjoyed entertaining with his fishing ventures and afternoon barbeque gatherings.

Ty is survived by his parents Michael & Paulette Ramsey of Ponce Inlet and his twin brothers Major Bo Ramsey and Wyatt Paul Ramsey of Daytona Beach Shores. All are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at Lohman Funeral Home Chapel 1201 Dunlawton Ave Port Orange on Tuesday 9/15/09 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
