Trevor Lancelot Walker, was the 4th of 11 children by Esmie & Adolphos Walker. He was born on April  22, 1938 in Kingston, Jamaica. Trevor completed his education in Jamaica. Trevor was always excited, optimistic and had big dreams. In an effort to develop a new found focus and to learn a trade, he was sent to England and later joined the British Army.

In the late 1950s, he met a young nursing student by the name of Merle Johnson. They had while getting to know each other and were later married in July, 1960.  Shortly after, they started their family and made the decision to relocate to the United States. It was there, they both settled into their careers. Merle continued to pursue her nursing career and Trevor entered into the Real Estate Business. Trevor was a successful Real Estate Broker and acquired the licenses needed to start his own Real Estate business. This business would later be incorporated with the name NorBrooke Real Estate. The company brokered several properties in Brooklyn, NY.

Trevor loved his family and earned the status of favorite Uncle, brother, brother-in-law and other titles such as Dad, Pops-in-law, Grandpa, and Great-grand Father.  He took pleasure in showing off his culinary skills for friends and family alike.  He would blend the best of natural flavors for a feast you would not soon forget. Whether, he was making his famous pancakes, beef or curry crab patties hand made from scratch or baking traditional Jamaican Black Cake, you were sure to be in for a treat! Trevor had an unwavering passion for fishing. While in New York, he would frequently go fishing with his old buddies. Occasionally, he would bring a grandson to accompany him on some of these many fishing trips.  Trevor kept a small tight circle of friends and cherished these friendships that have lasted over many decades. Trevor was a manly man and a "jack of all trades". He loved working with his hands and could fix just about anything...Even if it was only using duct tape!  He loved to garden and could grow just about anything, in any soil.

While Trevor may have been short in stature, his personality was measured by his huge presence and the unforgettable volume of his voice. When he became sick, Trevor never threw a pity party but, was always thinking of what project he was going to do when he felt better. By many, Trevor was said to have 9 lives and had an extremely strong will.

While he may be gone physically, his spirit will live on in our hearts and minds.  To know Trevor Walker is to love him.  Left to mourn his passing, His Wife of 58yrs Merle, Children Kevin, Marcia, Juliana, and Keysha, Grandchildren- Saritta, Shaun, Darius, Shayid, Da'quan, Kashief, Jahmel, Imani, Jordan and William, Great Grandchildren- Kadian, Shiloh, Arthur, and TJ . Two Sons -in-Law, 2 Brothers, 3 sisters, countless nieces, nephews and a host of family friends.
