Travis LeRoy Ray, 29, of Daytona Beach, Florida left us on Sunday, May 6, 2018 in Orlando, Florida. Travis was born on July 31, 1988, in Daytona Beach to Ricky Ray and Jerri Strickland. Travis graduated from Pine Ridge High, Deltona, FL in 2006 and went on to serve in the United States Army. In High School, Travis excelled in football and wrestling. He enjoyed traveling to various locations around the country and applying his skills as a chef. He is survived by his daughter Marlee Ray, his parents Ricky and Jerri, step-mothers Soraya Ray and Hope Ray, siblings Janae Ray, Aaron Strickland, Natalie Pounsel, Xavier Ray, Dallas Ray, and Alijea Russell, grandmothers Sharon Strickland, Roberta Giles, and Pilar O'Malley, grandfather James Giles, Sr., great-grandmother Ethel Gainey, Aunts, Bridget Hayden, Angela Collie, Ramona Merrick, Pamela Ray, Trina Ray, Adriana Curbelo, Uncles LeRoy Ray, Randall Ray, James Giles, Jr., John Kimbler, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
