IN MEMORY OF TRACY L MATHEWS
OCTOBER 18, 1964 TO March 8, 2017
Tracy L Mathews 52, of Daytona Beach, FL passed away March 8, 2017 following a critical illness. He was born in Anniston, Alabama he graduated from Anniston High School in 1983. He served honorably as a U. S. Navy Boatswain Mate from August 1983 to March 1999.
After retiring from U. S. Navy he has worked several jobs and has never once meet a stranger. His smile would always light up any room he entered. He worked for Ocean Walks Shops on Atlantic Ave as a Security Guard, Crown Document Shredding as a Driver & Voltran Transit as a Transportation Driver for those who needed to be transported to various type appointments.
His Memories will be cherished by his wife Felissa M Mathews who shared 28 years of Love & Dedication with him. He leaves behind his children Tracy L Mathews Wright 33 of Anniston AL, Stephanie Stripling 32 of Jacksonville, AL, Tina Allen 34 of Anniston, AL, Wilmona C (Mona) Mathews 25 of Gainesville, FL, and Tamika A Mathews 29 of Anniston, AL. He's survived by two brothers Charles Mathews Jr, of Anniston, AL and Jerry Mathews of Alabama. He is survived by one sister Debra Mathews of Birmingham, AL. He has one grandchild and a host of nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Mathews and Ruby Lee Beavers Mathews. He has recently lost his sister Jacqueline L Vincent and his brother John McCoy. May they all continue to watch over us left behind in this cruel World! To God Be the Glory!!!!!
Funeral Services will be Friday March 17, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the Lohman Funeral Home 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange with a gathering and viewing for family and friends on Thursday March, 16 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
