Tina Marie Lesshafft, 67, of Port Orange, FL, peacefully passed away on June 12, 2024, after a courageous 12-year battle with an aggressive form of leukemia.

Born on March 20, 1957, in Clyde, New York, to Chester and Mary Jane (DeLeo) Avoli, Tina graduated from Clyde Savannah High School and spent the majority of her adult life in Port Orange, Florida, where she met the love of her life, Michael.

Affectionately known as Mimi by her grandchildren, Tina was always ready with a snuggle when they were young and a listening ear as they grew
older. Her greatest joys in life were her family, friends, and faith.

Tina dedicated many years of her career in telecommunications to AT&T and later worked at Daytona State College for several years before retiring four years ago. She also had a passion for interior design and was talented in that pursuit.

Tina is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Mike; her children, Tiffany, and Chris (Jen) Lesshafft; grandchildren Chase, Claire, Carson, and Emmett; and her siblings, Sharon, Pam and Vincent Avoli.

While we grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing she is free from suffering and is in God's care. Tina's final thoughts were filled with pride for her children, love for her grandchildren, and deep gratitude for her friends. Most of all, she wished her husband Mike a happy, healthy future, and that her children continue to find safety, love and happiness.

A memorial service will be held at Lohman's Funeral Home located at 1201 Dunlawton Avenue in Port Orange, FL on Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m.. Additionally, a Celebration of Life will take place in New York in late summer.
