Timothy J. Ward 51 of Holly Hill died on February 1 2009 due to a tragic accident. A memorial service will be held on Friday February 6 at 4:00pm at Lohman Funeral Home 1423 Bellevue Avenue Daytona Beach Florida. Tim was born in Greensboro North Carolina to John W. Ward and Audrey M. Birdsong in 1957. Two years later his family relocated to Holly Hill Florida where he lived for the past 49 years. He attended Mainland High School where he had made many friends most of whom he maintained friendships with until his untimely death. In his free time Tim could be found either fishing hunting or gardening; all of which he enjoyed immensely. Several years ago he spent some time in Georgia where he became interested in the mushroom growing industry and had maintained that interest ever since. Tim will be dearly missed by his parents friends and all those who knew him. He is survived by his parents John and Audrey Ward; aunts Jerry Birdsong of South Daytona Barbara (Sanford) Bryant of Baltimore Maryland; uncles Wayne Ward of South Daytona Jack (Nora) Ward of Raleigh North Carolina; cousins Mike Cothran of Holly Hill and Rick Cothran of Deland. He was predeceased in death by his brother Ronnie Ward.
