Timothy D. Sullivan 87 died February 7 2005 at Halifax Medical Center after a brief illness. There will be a viewing for family and friends on Monday 14th from 6 to 8 at the Lohman Ormond Funeral Home at 733 W. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach FL 32174. A memorial mass will be celebrated Tuesday 15th at 10 am at St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd. Ormond Beach FL 32176 followed by burial at the Lohman Daytona Memorial Park. Timothy was a resident of Ormond Beach for 20 years with his wife Mary Creeden before moving to ?The Place? in Daytona Beach about a year ago. Timothy was born in Massachusetts and entered the US Marine Corps and served in WWII as a Chief Warrant Officer in the telecommunications field. Following the war he worked for the New England Telephone Co. for over 33 years and upon retiring in 1980 he moved to Florida. Timothy was active with many groups during his retirement including the Council on Aging of Volusia County Bicentennial Park Committee the Seniors Coalition the election committee for Volusia County and the Florida division of blind services. Timothy was a life member of the VFW Post #4319 a life member of the Marine Corps League a life member of the Telephone Pioneers a member of the American Legion Post #267 and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Timothy enjoyed traveling gardening tennis swimming and walking. His brother James Sullivan and former wife Alice Sullivan predeceased Timothy. He is survived by Mary his wife of 25 years his sons Timothy Sullivan and his wife Karen of Kopperl TX Donald Sullivan of Bass River MA Robert Sullivan and his wife Terry of Medway MA and William Sullivan and his spouse Sandra of Canton OH and a daughter Pamela Varnum of Marlboro MA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to St. Brendan Roman Catholic Church 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd. Ormond Beach FL 32176.
