Timothy L. Kuker, 71, a resident of Daytona Beach passed away on Tuesday October 17th in Ormond Beach, Fl. Tim was born in Indiana in 1946 and spent most of his younger years there. Following High School, Tim attended Indiana U where he honed his business skills for his future endeavors. He became a successful and respected man of business in his community and acted as a mentor to those who worked with him. After a brief move to Florida, Tim and his wife, Kathy, relocated to North Carolina. Eventually, Tim opened a car dealership and wound up overseeing that for the next 30 years. When thinking about his retirement, he took his manager and groomed him to take over the business, which is still in operation today. Tim also loved basketball and took great enjoyment in coaching youth basketball teams, especially when his son Eric got involved. He will be missed dearly by those whose lives he touched. Tim leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Kathy, his 5 children; Teri, Laurie, Larry, Eric, and Johnny, his 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 25th at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Daytona Beach. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Tim's name to the Lourdes Academy, 1014 N. Halifax Dr. Daytona Beach, Fl. 32118.
