Thomasina Elizabeth Cinelli, 85, of Ormond Beach Florida passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Sunday, May 3, 2020.   She was born January 19, 1935 in Jamaica, Queens New York to James and Frieda (Pressler) Wright, Sr. Tommie was a devoted wife and mother who worked with her husband, John, as their secretary/bookkeeper for his private sanitation companies, 4 Circle & Roman Sanitation in New York. She is survived by sister, Gertrude  Repman, her four children, John and Annette Cinelli, Jr., James and Lynne Cinelli, Eve and Richard Cinelli-Nahabedian and Mary (Cinelli) and Luis Barreto. She was a very proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren, Christina, Tiffany, Michael, Nicole, Anthony, Nicholas, Cassie, Angela, Michelle, Noelle, Giovanni and Leonardo, thirteen great-grandchildren, Brody, Matthew, Mason, Olivia, Andrew, Vincent, Ava, Max, Amelia, Charlotte, Meadow, Luca and Camryn, granddaughter-in-laws and grandson-in-laws, Garrett, Ryan, Melissa, Brad, Laura, Carolyn and Don, as well as much loved nieces, nephews and her companion of 10 years, John Walker. Thomasina was preceded in death by beloved husband, John Cinelli, Sr., sister Mary (Wright) Servotke, brothers, James Wright, Jr. Robert Wright, sister, Hannah Wright, and granddaughter, Angela Cinelli. Just as our dad, our mother's life revolved around family. She was so very proud of all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love for all of us was undeniable. Whether she was being your best friend or a strong disciplinarian, bottom-line she only wanted what was best for all of us. She loved "Hosting" her "Back to School" parties for the kids, attending all their sporting events, recitals, volunteering in their school and most recently "Rocking Out" with her grandson's band. The "Fringes". Each and every grandchild had a unique and intimate relationship with her in their own special way. The memories and stories are endless and I am sure we have many days of reminiscing ahead of us. She would always encourage all of us to follow our dreams and was always there to "have our backs", whether we succeeded or not. As much as she loved us, she extended that quality in her to all her friends and family. She had a vibrant personality, non stop, get up and go attitude. She selflessly extended her self in so many ways. She loved feeling needed and with that began her volunteering within the community. She was a parishioner at Prince of Peace Catholic Church where she spent many hours working in the thrift shop, church store, Oktoberfest, as well as being a member of the Bereavement Reception Ministry. She volunteered at Pine Trail elementary for several years so she could remain close to "All of her Kids". She received a Certificate of Appreciation for over 20 years of dedicated service as a volunteer at Pine Trail Elementary School. She volunteered at Florida Hospital, Halifax Medical Center Auxiliary and served as President of the Auxiliary at Peninsula Medical Center. Tommie also volunteered at Gastroenterology Consultants with Dr. Arun Dhand. She loved working around the medical field because she would always say. "I always wanted to be a nurse." She volunteered as an Airport Ambassador at Daytona Beach International Airport and loved being able to greet people as they arrived and help guide them to where they needed to be. When she lived at Halifax Plantation, she served on the HOA board and before you knew it, she made friends with a group of ladies who shared many nights together with pot luck dinners and attending "social events" together. Thomasina was a member of the "Daytona Divas" Red Hat Society, the Italian American Club or Ormond Beach, the Royal Coach Tours and the Daytona Beach Symphony Society Guild. These organizations made it possible to continue on with her love for travel by going on cruises, trips to New York and so many other places she may not have ventured out to on her own, she was with friends and after each outing we were always told that she was "the Life of the Party". Mom left no stone unturned. While traveling with "The Girls", Mom entrusted the care of her pup, Zoey to her nephew, Fred. After much consideration, she requested that Zoey  remain with him because, "Zoey loves him just as much as she love me". With that being said, we would like to extend an invitation for you to share a special memory of our mom… Thank you                    A public visitation will be held on Friday, May 8 ^th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach. Due to our current Covid situation the Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Saturday, May 9 ^th at 11:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church and the graveside services will be held privately. A Celebration of Tommie's life will be held at a later date.
