Thomas Saxman Underwood, 70 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach.

Tom was born December 14, 1945 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to James and Ann Eliza (Saxman) Underwood. He was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy, then went on to the University of South Carolina. Tom spent a few years working for his father before becoming an entrepreneur, starting or acquiring companies in the manufacturing and construction industries.

Tom enjoyed fishing, playing golf, traveling, and most of all entertaining friends and family. He truly cherished his family, his beloved Steelers, and his many friends. Tom is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Judith "Judy" Underwood, Ormond Beach, his sons, Thomas Underwood and his wife Angela of Sanford, Scott G Collett and his wife Vanessa of West Chester, Ohio, and his daughter, Tracey Underwood Bishop and her husband John of Richmond, Virginia, as well as nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3rd at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach between the hours of 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday, June 4th at 3:00 pm at Christ Presbyterian Church; 1035 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach.
