Thomas "Tom" Stacy, 89, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 22nd between the hours of 6~8 pm at Lohman Funeral Home, 1201 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 23rd at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1003 Turnbull St., New Smyrna Beach.
Committal service with Military Honors will follow at Daytona Memorial Park.

Thomas was born November 23, 1924 in Oswego, New York to Fred and Thelma (Baker) Stacy. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WW II, serving under General Patton in France, Czechoslovakia and Germany. He was a retail sales representative and manager in Upstate New York. Upon his retirement in 1986, he and his family left Baldwinsville, New York and relocated to Volusia County. His second career was as a security officer in Daytona Beach. Tom enjoyed traveling but his favorite hobby was woodworking. He created many beautiful pieces of furniture which now live in the homes of those who loved him.

Nothing made Tom happier than spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and other family members. His most treasured memories were those when he was with the ones he loved.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Lorraine (LaBella) Stacy, New Smyrna Beach, his four children, Christopher (Jayne) Stacy of Springfield, Massachusetts, Lorry (David) Hood of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, Cindy (Ted) Rosa of New Smyrna Beach, and Louie (Tammy) Sposato of Ormond Beach, Florida, by his sister, Joan Felasco of Liverpool, New York, as well as his six grandchildren, Aliesha, Shaughn, Louis, Felicia, Tiffany, and Lauren. His loving care giver Judy Lathrope was by his side constantly and continues to lend her support to his family. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
