Thomas Jones Thomas, 87, of Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026. He was born on April 1, 1938, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Arthur and Margaret (Jones) Thomas.

After graduating from Meyers High School, Tom proudly served in the 109th Field Artillery, Pennsylvania National Guard. A hardworking and determined man, he went on to build his own business, Tom Thomas General Repair, providing residential plumbing and heating services throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania for twenty-seven years. Tom took great pride in the business he created and was grateful to retire early after years of dedicated service to his community.

Tom was a man of faith and fellowship. He attended First Reformed Church, Plymouth, PA and was a Past Worshipful Master of Plymouth Masonic Lodge 332.

A lover of the outdoors, Tom enjoyed collecting guns, hunting, fishing, and could be found most summer nights with feet up on a fire ring of a campsite. His greatest joy came from time spent with family and sharing stories from his life. Known for his playful spirit, Tom loved joking and teasing those around him, always hoping to bring a smile or a laugh. His stories often carried wisdom, offering gentle life lessons to anyone lucky enough to listen.

Tom was devoted to his first wife, Judy, whom he loved deeply during their twenty-four years together until her passing at age 43. Love found him again when he met Louise, and together they shared forty wonderful years, thirty of them in marriage. Tom and Louise enjoyed traveling, visiting places such as Las Vegas, Tennessee, and Hawaii, along with cherished annual trips to Florida to spend time with his daughter Melissa and her family.

He is survived by his spouse, Louise M. Thomas; his children, Thomas Thomas and his wife Debbie, Melissa A. Myerski and her husband Paul, Bruce W. Thomas and his wife Amy; his step-daughter, Tammy Hiscox; his grandchildren, Sheri Rakowski and her husband Mike, Paul Myerski and his wife Jessica, Matthew Myerski, Ethan Thomas, Jacob Thomas, and Carleigh Thomas; his great-grandchildren, Kingston, KaileeAnna; his great-great-grandchildren, Everly and Melody; and his brother, Arthur Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Thomas; his parents, Arthur and Margaret Jones Thomas; his daughter-in-law, Donna Thomas; and his step-daughter, Wendy Wilce.

Family and friends are invited to gather at The Center at Deltona on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with a celebration of Tom's life beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Tom leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
