It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Thomas Neil Reid on Sunday, March 22nd. He is now rejoicing in the arms of His Savior. Tom was born May 20, 1938 in Lancaster, Ohio to Clarence and Mary Cordella Reid. He was a longtime Ohio native trucker and later retired to the Central Florida area. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Ursula Reid, his parents and five siblings ( Marvine Hubert, May Anderson, Boid Reid, Robert Reid, and Edward Reid). He is survived by two daughters Petra (Carson) Cornell, and Mary (Kyle) Moreland, two grandchildren: Reid Stevens, and Isabell (Kevin) Crouch, one great-grandson Brian Stevens, multiple nieces and nephews, plus very close friends Scott and Debbie Ferraro (Opi to Katie and Silas Ferraro). He greeted everyone he met with a joke and an invitation to his church. He was very grateful to his Preacher (Pastor Lamar Breedlove) for knocking on his door and giving him the gospel. He was also an active member of Central Fellowship Baptist Church in Lake Helen, Florida and welcomed everyone with open arms. He never met a stranger. He was always the life of the party. Once you met him, he was never forgotten. We will miss you Dad / Opi / Bro Tom. 

Celebration of Life Service Friday March 27, 2026 at Central Fellowship Baptist Church 626 E. Kicklighter Rd, Lake Helen, Florida 32744. A military service at a later date. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the church in memory of Tom Reid.
