Thomas Wayne Reece, 47 of Ormond Beach, Florida passed away October 15, 2016. Born January 12, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank Wayne and Linda Carol (Newton) Reece, Tom was an automotive fabricator at Raabe Racing, Bunnell, Florida where he specialized in electronics and audio sound systems. He loved the beach, enjoyed surfing in his earlier years, and was highly competitive in BMX racing, which he passed on to his son, Austin. Tom spent countless hours coaching the sport of BMX racing. He was the Team Manager for CycleCraft Factory and Co-Factory BMX Teams. He enjoyed teasing and kidding around, especially with his mother. Tom was everyone's coach and bike mechanic, no matter what team colors they were wearing. Most of all Tom loved being around his family, traveling from one competition to another, family time was everything to him. His rough exterior and contagious smile will be greatly missed by all.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca "Becky" Reece of Ormond Beach, his children, Austin Reece of Ormond Beach, Ezel Reece of Texas, Joshua Birt of Kentucky, and Chantelle Shepherd of Kentucky, by his mother, Linda Reece of Deltona, FL, father, Frank Wayne Reece of Kentucky, Mother-in-law, Millie Hendricks and her husband, Pete of Pennsylvania, father-in-law, Bill Ogle and his wife Barb of Daytona Beach, FL, as well as his maternal grandmother, Ivetta Read.

The family will receive on Thursday, October 20th beginning at 5:00 pm with a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 pm at Lohman Funeral Home; 733 W. Granada Blvd. Ormond Beach.
