Thomas H. McDermott 85 of Ormond Beach passed away May 24 2012. Visitation honoring Thomas will be held Wednesday May 30 from 3-6pm at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Korona 89 St. Mary's Place Bunnell FL. Burial will immediately follow at Bushnell Cemetery.

Thomas served his country in the Army during WWII and Korea. He then worked for Roosevelt Racetrack in Westbury NY. Thomas enjoyed camping hiking and golf. He loved spending time with his family and taking family cruises.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Barbara; by his daughters: Gail of Margate FL and Janis of Mineola NY; by his sons: Scott (Lisa) of Rockville Centre NY and James (Marchelle) of San Antonio TX. He will be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren; by his brother Vincent (Hilda) of Ormond Beach; and his sisters: Madeline Rappelt of Long Island NY and Lois Lang of DeLand.
