Thomas (Gerry) Glass passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Halifax Health Medical Center.

Glass was a successful, ethical, wellrespected local businessman who's charitable and community contributions are too numerous to list. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, devoted father to his son Justin, and loyal friend to all who knew him.

Gerry was born in Vero Beach Florida on February 17, 1951 to Thomas Glass and Mary Ward Glass (deceased). He began his career in the banking industry in Jacksonville, and then moved on to banks in Orlando and Daytona Beach that included Florida Atlantic Bank, Florida National Bank and Heritage Federal.

He founded TG Glass & Associates commercial construction company in 1994 and was ultimately responsible for building such notable sites as the Raydon Corporation headquarters, Teledyne Oil & Gas, Masco Manufacturing Company/Top Build, DME, Inc. and numerous others.

He will be sorely missed by his family and all of his good friends at LPGA International, where he was a longtime club member and frequent benefactor to causes and tournaments associated with the organization. He was the sponsor of the Member/Guest Tournament and "Bubba Cup" trophy that bears his name. He was also responsible for the wel lreceived remodeling of the LPGA International clubhouse facility.

Gerry was a third degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an accomplished college baseball player and avid hunter and fisherman. After discovering golf, he enjoyed playing at LPGA in the Bowler League and Loo Cup event, both in the US and Trevose Head, England.

Gerry graduated high school from Englewood High School in Jacksonville and college from Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, Tennessee where he played baseball and majored in Business Administration. However, he still remained an avid Florida Gator Fan.

Above all, Gerry Glass was a gentleman. An honest, kind and gentle man. A man who provided a perfect example of how to live your life honorably. He leaves behind a legacy of memories for all who knew him laced with laughter, friendship, and love.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Susan Burton Glass and their son Justin. Other survivors include parents Ken & Lena Adler, sisters Dorothy (Lee) Jones, Annette (Steve) Coates and Robin Garvey, brother Danny Adler, sisters in law Karen (Michael) Duranceau, Debbie (Bob) Scavarda and Cathy (Tim) Candage and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, December 21st at Lohman Funeral Home, 733 West Granada Boulevard, Ormond Beach, Florida. 1:00 PM Visitation followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
