Thomas E. Cone passed away peacefully at his home on January 8, 2026. Tom was born in Daytona Beach, Florida on July 3rd, 1952 to Robert JW & Lois C. Cone. He attended Mainland High School while working at his grandfather's dairy farm in Ormond Beach. After graduating high school in 1970, he attended Daytona Beach Community College for Electronics. He then went on to work for the DoD, monitoring missile defense. In short, he was a civilian spy for the Navy near Russia. He then went on to work for Harris Control as a System Engineer for almost forty years.

Tom then met the love of his life, Lisa Andrews, whom he married and shared nearly twenty-five years with. Tom loved being on his tractor in the hay fields and tending to his cows. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gun enthusiast. You could always find him in his garage, working on something or visiting with friends. Tom is preceded in death by his father, Robert JW Cone, mother Lois C. Cone and brother Robert J. Cone. He is survived by his wife Lisa, son Loren, his niece Melissa Terrell, nephew Robert, great nieces Kristen Smith & Kylie Terrell and many friends.
