Thomas M. Dunbar, Jr., 90, of Titusville, FL, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017 in Titusville, Florida. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00pm on Tuesday April 4, 2017 in the Chapel at Lohman Funeral Home Daytona, 1423 Bellevue Ave., Daytona Beach. The Burial will follow the Funeral Service in Daytona Memorial Park, 1425 Bellevue Avenue. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII in the 82nd Airborne 508 Infantry as well as in the Military Police Battalion. He retired after over 35 years with the Florida Department of Transportation. Thomas was a member of the American Legion in Titusville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his three children, Susan Brewster of Eugene, Oregon, Thomas B. Dunbar and Robert M. Dunbar of Titusville, FL; two grandchildren, Julie Gifford of Springfield, Oregon and Kendra Howard of Portland, Oregon; and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Nolan Gifford of Springfield, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Frances in 2013. Condolences may be shared with the family here on our online guestbook.
